My opinion don't matter in this scenario so I ain't gonna ramble. It's too much energy wasted. However, I do reckon all religious groups are getting played off with one and other by the Satanists.

It's more of a mirthful ode to underline the pointlessness in any sect or cult group! I wasn't trying to advocate that Atheists are this or that, I was just trying to inject a bit of a lighthearted view into the topic. I mean, to me, some drunken ol' barflies perched on stools in the local Boozer are the best Preacher-men imaginable.

I remember at the time that I didn't really have to think much about writing this song. I just sat down with the occurring riff that I had rattling about my brain for the previous two weeks and wrote it off the cuff, hoping that I could complete some sort of song.

About 5 years later, I presented the song to Shadey and said, ''Hey! I think you should sing this song!''. We had it nailed in about 10 minutes.
