The ''1984 is now'' saga started way back in 2004 when I first wrote this track.
I was on an underground tube train in Barcelona and I spotted a piece of graffiti. It was a crudely drawn CCTV camera with the title ''1984 IS NOW'' above it!
I thought to myself, ''Well there's a book and two feature films but no song!''
Since discovering that I had an affinity with the writing and works of George Orwell, it made perfect sense for me to try and compose a piece of my own. Or in this particular case five versions of it.
If you don't like em all, at least one's gonna be your favourite.
